I love kids and I enjoy being surrounded by them, especially my only daughter and nephews. It’s always my joy to help assist in the celebration of my nephew’s birthday from party planning, making party invitations, table skirting to setting up candy buffet and even facilitating parlor games. Well, this is maybe because I wanted to be an event stylist and a kid’s party organizer someday. =)
Last October 30, 2015, we celebrated my nephew’s 1st birthday with a minion theme. His name is Liam. He’s such a sweet and cheerful baby boy and we love him a lot.
The minion theme cake and cupcakes was made by my younger brother and her wife. It was a nice and fun cake and cupcakes.
We invited our neighbors, relatives and some friends. The celebration was simple yet enjoyable – loads of foods, candy buffet and a few parlor games for the kids.
Again, I had a candy buffet set up for the kids and kids at heart which includes cupcakes, lollipops, molded chocolates, chocolate fountain, marshmallows, cookies and some candies.
Of course, the Pinoy party is not complete without the Lechon or roast pig.
And as for me, I badly need to practice my hosting skills because I think I suck at it. Ha ha ha!
Baby Liam enjoyed his first birthday from the looks of his sweet face. The party ended and I think everyone had a despicable fun.
Doing all the chores for the party was no doubt tiring but it was all worth it for my cute little nephew.
May you have more birthdays to come little Liam! May the Lord our God shower you with good health, a happy life and I hope you’ll grow up to be a person with good character. Love lots!
