Malaysia is truly Asia!
Malaysia is a wonderful country to visit. The people are nice, the place is relatively peaceful and the foods are sumptuous not to mention that the fare, souvenirs and places to stay are affordable. Going to places was easy.
It was October of 2011 that I and my friend visited Malaysia. We stayed in an affordable boutique hotel called CUBE Hotel.
The first attraction that we went to after arriving in Kuala Lumpur was the famous Petronas Towers. The twin tower is really tall and indeed an attraction; loads of people were taking photos of the popular tower.
We went to the Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon. It has a mall, waterpark, rides, animal sanctuary, hotel and lovely man-made beach. You need to have a lot of time if you want to visit this amazing place.
On our third day, we headed to Batu Caves which can be reached by train only. The majestic Golden Statue of Murugan outside of the Batu Caves was truly stunning. It’s in fact the tallest statue in the world. Climbing the 272-step stairs was tiring yet an unforgettable experience.
We also went to Berjaya Mall , Genting Highlands. Bukit Bintang, The Kuala Lumpur Tower, Little India, Petaling Street (China Town), Chinese Temple, Sri Mahamariamman Temple and Katsuri Walk.
Five days aren’t enough to explore the beauty of Malaysia. I wished we had more time to explore this lovely country. Our 5-day vacation went fast but in was truly awesome!
